Costco will totally return that, by the way.

How are you tire guys cleaning the bead area before mounting new tires?

We are pretty fortunate here in the south. We will put on about 60-80 tires a day, and we only have to clean a bead two or three times a week. But we generally only work on newer cars. We just use a cup brush on a drill. Actually, it rarely from rust, it's usually the GM chrome wheels flaking...

    Snap On torque wrench question

As others have stated I don't think the torque wrench have a lifetime warranty. You could always send it to a company like https://www.teamtorque.com/ to have it calibrated.

Cool Husky Pro box, who made it and when?

I have a Husky Pro box at work from 2006-ish. It looks like a Waterloo box to me, but I haven't done any digging.

Anyone had any luck with Milwaukee Customer Service?

I sent in my 1/4" m12 ratchet in the fall. Probably a 2-2.5 week turn around.

How to fix this Snap-On top hinge?

Honestly, I would probably just hose the hinge down with PB Blaster, let it sit for a day. Then run it through the ol' cheek-poker to clean it up, then give it a Krylon rebuild and rivet it back in place. That is if you can get it moving nicely with something like PB Blaster.

I just drive in? Never really thought about it.

    Used Icon Tool Storage

Price and brand aside, I really like that layout with the single bay box on the side.

    spark plug socket set

Funny story, I ordered a universal oil funnel (the spring loaded kind) and some shears from VIM's clearance section and received Matco branded tools. [Edit] I apparently can't read and dsaabm already mentioned that.

    Calibrate A Torque Wrench?

We use Team Torque. We have to check calibration every day before use at 50ftlbs, 150ft/lbs, and 250ft/lbs; and once a month check calibration with a witness. In the once a month test, anything outside of 3% means it has to be sent off to be calibrated.

How Do I Get This Busted Insert Out

This seems like a great way to justify purchasing the current Gen 2 M12 Fuel impact driver.

    Milwaukee warranty turnaround time

In pre-covid times, turn around was less than two weeks. I haven't sent anything in this year. Also, not to be a ****, but paid a premium compared to what? Just about any thing similar will be a similar price, or more if it's off the tool truck.

Neighbors dont like my barn project - threaten zoning appeal

Seems like you're still good to go. I'd still smash his wife. Doesn't matter if you're attracted, it's for the principal.

    Flex vs Roto ratchets

For some reason when I try to use a roto head ratchet with any kind of swivel socket, I can't get it to stay moving in any direction that I want and it ends up getting flying lessons. This is probably a me problem though.

I'm all Milton V and have no leak issues. I made the switch years ago, so I can't comment on current quality.

What Is The Best TYPE Of Breaker Bar?

Looking at the website it's just Pittsburg now. It used to be the Pittsburg Pro. This one: https://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-drive-25-in-professional-breaker-bar-62729.html This one used to be the only one called Pittsburg. These will always let you down and have your body suddenly traveling...

What Is The Best TYPE Of Breaker Bar?

I'm gonna third or fourth the fellers on the Pittsburg Pro breaker bar. I break them at the same rate as the tool trucks, which is not often. I've only broken one and just carried it back and got another.

Toolbox Decision: Costco Vs Harbor Freight?

I work at Costco, and I can tell you the Costco box is garbage. The old Kirkland boxes could go toe to toe with the HF series 1 box, but not the new ones.

    Wheel Bearing Tools

As said before, get after it with a decent air hammer, hitting it on the ears rotating it left and right. Once it's moving, then get after it with a slide hammer. Seems kinda silly paying $700 for a unitasker if you aren't changing explorer wheel bearing 40hrs a week.
