    Best way to flatten this floor?

    I had a similar issue with my sub-floor when I pulled up carpet (to put down hardwood). I used my belt sander, with a 36 grit belt, and it took it down quite quickly.

    I bought an angle + a straight Chicago Pneumatic 20 years ago, while in the auto body program at Mott Community College. Back then, the school could order with a steep discount. I've used and abused them both and they've held up fine.
