I've been reading up on VersaTube and there appears to be some complaints with their ability to hold snow weight, here in the North. Does anybody have insight into this?

Here in my neck of the woods, our Menards has far better lumber than HD or Lowes. It's still not great, but definitely better.

I love Menards; I've got 2 of their stores within 30 minutes of me and it's well worth the drive. That said, I do use Home Depot's 11% Menards-match rebate website often.

I own my share of Pittsburgh wrenches and sockets, but I prefer HD Husky tools by a long shot. I am seldom disappointed with Husky, but HF handtools are hit and miss. When HF is good, it's great; but when it's bad, it's terrible. I will never understand why so many sets skip 18mm. I need that...

Currently, I've been stocking up on clamps when the 30% off coupons come in. Just used my 30% of 5 items under $10 each, and bought 5 more 36" bar clamps for the wood working shop.
