I still haven't received an email, but just changed last months code from august to September and it worked. I had the same issue as others about the code being invalid at first. I found that if I logged into my account and then used the code then it worked.

Did anyone else receive the free socket email? I didn't. I never even received a welcome email. I had to email them and ask for the % off code

Watch for the sales. Sometimes you can catch sales where you can buy a bare tool and it comes with a free battery. You can turn around and sell the bare tool if you don't want it. Or, be on the lookout for sales on kits. That way maybe you can pick up a couple batteries and some tools you...

I picked up these 2 bins of sockets today. Hoping to fill out some of my half inch drive sizes. Spotted some Williams and Craftsman USA in there. Paid $30 for both bins. Definitely not a you ****, but I don't think I did too bad

It looks like I answered my own question. They are barb wire cutters from 1940.

Found some kind of old cutters. Never seen anything like them before with the way they fold up and all. Any ideas if they were for a special purpose?

Had a chance to go through a few more things. Found a Curtis No 60 vise. Not sure what its for. I would imagine something specialized because the jaws are curved.
