    If I went that far I’d probably do an Lsx swap. Was a Chevy kid growing up working on ls powered cars. Really just trying to keep it simple with this car and mostly bolt on upgrades. In a 2500lb car with the trick flow top end kit that puts the 5.0 at they advertise 435hp. I’m fine with that...

    That’s why I’m waiting til last to do any upgrades to the engine. I’ve already been looking into pro charger kits for it. So it may end up with a lot more upgrades by that point.

    It’s a 1965 Comet with a EFI 302 from a fox body mustang, has a C4 trans. Body and interior is in great shape so plans are to do a lot of bolt on upgrades to really makes this car into something you can get in and cruise. Plan is to upgrade front and rear suspension and add sub frame...

    Thanks I’m very excited to start working in there upgrading the comet. Been dreaming about this build for many years. At the moment I don’t plan to do any welding or grinding in there but if that changes I will definitely look into a fire resistant coating or at Sheetrock the walls.

    First Japanese tools. Was looking for pliers when I came across this thread and for the price figured I’d give them a try. Typically I only buy knipex so see how I end up liking these. Quality seems good and price was a lot cheaper.

    Recently finished construction on my dream building. It is a 20x40x10 with a 6” thick floor. It has 2” of closed cell foam on the walls and roof. For heating and a/c I installed a 2 zone 2.5 ton Bosch mini split. Next week they will be installing the two post lift
