Central A/C Unit Shutting Off Blower ?

You said it yourself- these motors are thermally protected, so it's likely shutting down and restarting once it cools.

    2x6 wall 12" c-c spacing

The International Residential Code (IRC) is the basis for most structural codes in the US. The IRC tables go to 12' tall studs with some exceptions noted. The one exception that might apply here would give you 18' for 2x6 walls, but that is limited to 25 psf snow load, and I guess Green Bay...

Run a 3 phase air compressor on 1 phase.

I modeled a phase converter in Excel a few years ago to visualize what is happening. There are two 120 Volt lines 180° apart (standard split phase supply) with a 208 V line created between those two. Remember 1) a phase is the difference in voltage between two lines, 2) both lines are always...

Run a 3 phase air compressor on 1 phase.

Because this is GJ, where you need a Kenworth T800 and a lowboy to pick up a bale of straw at Home Depot once a year. After all, a man's gotta future proof.

Help from electrician? Ceiling fan fell

If it's been wobbling for 7 years, it would not be shocking to find either or both components have worn or deformed. It would seem you could assess any deformation by test fitting the ball in the bracket.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Today was the last of 3 sessions I spent bead blasting Norton parts. It took about 8 hours total. To be fair, this was not done in my garage, but a friend's shop, where he has the gear.

    Combine air compressors?

I would just make up a manifold using iron pipe and fittings and quick connectors of your choice. You could even use a single tee (maybe 3/4" or 1" IPS) as the manifold with the compressors coming in the ends and the outlet off of the side connection.

Which AC brands to avoid ? Need advice…

Could be thermal overloads in the compressor, which can trip for reasons other than just a bad compressor (like low supply voltage, high return gas temp, or excessive discharge pressure).

    Cutting trusses

We have modified or repaired trusses per engineer instruction, but not very often. You would need some path to carry that tension without just transferring it to the adjacent trusses, and the connections would be critical.

Putting in structural support in a wall that's already built?

I also saw that. We've done it both ways, including one where there were 2 parallel ridges slightly offset from each other, so the new LVL ridge beam was aligned with one, but the other end caught the rafters just on one side. The whole thing was held together by hangers and brackets of various...

Putting in structural support in a wall that's already built?

I'm assuming this means you intend to install a ridge beam in place of the existing ridge board to which the rafters are attached, and this is all being done for the purpose of removing the rafter ties to gain clearance. If that's all correct, the challenge here is not installing the post and...

    Structural Stuff

As small as that roof is, I would first recommend simply replacing it with a new gable roof with a ridge beam and vault the ceiling. Even if you keep the door, posting down to a beam across that opening would work and maybe another beam at the rear depending on what other structure might be...

    Windows style that completely opens?

You could look at double sliders that would open the entire height and give you more net opening than you have now, but still be less expensive than some other options.

    Rate my foundation.

So at 7' I think you are good, especially if you don't feel any excess deflection (i.e. "bounciness'). It seems a strange way to frame a floor, because they could have framed it more conventionally with 2x10s and fewer piers and beams, but perhaps they had a bunch of 2x6s to use up.

    Rate my foundation.

I think you mean girder, which is generally understood as a horizontal member (i.e. beam) running below and (usually) perpendicular to other horizontal members (joists or other beams) that bear on the girder(s). I have worked on older structures where their idea of a footer was a flat spot...

Sanity check wiring neutral and ground in a subpanel, bonding?

Just to be clear, I only questioned the bonding because the first photo didn’t show any GEC. Without knowledge at that time of the service entrance, it seemed this detached structure was fed from a panel in another building, and would have needed its own ground electrodes. It may very well be...

Sanity check wiring neutral and ground in a subpanel, bonding?

Just what I said- it's ALL bonded so there is no difference in potential. The electrical system is grounded via whatever ground electrodes were installed, so conductive parts of the building need a low impedance connection to that same system so you cannot find yourself between objects at a...
