The GDS Skunkworks, 4 FN 27's Shop Projects

I can relate with the cutoff wheels. I do have them ranked well below carbide burs on my list of despised tools. An Ellis bandsaw was a must for my shop. Thankfully I was able to find a used one at a good price. I'll upgrade to a larger one someday but for now it does fine.

Power switch question for DP 220

Mine had a modern switch on the side like yours when I first got it. I really wanted a period correct switch to go along with it but I couldn't source one at the time. I went with a foot operated switch. Picked up an older square D off eBay.

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

@11b30b4 The stand is off a newer Rockwell grinder. Based off the switch that was on it I'd say it was a three phase grinder. The mounting pattern for the grinder is the same as well as for the repo light switch. All it's missing is the vertical casting lines. The guy I bought mine from had a...

    “Cheater Bars” Discussion

Nothing can widthstand constant heat or pressure. That's a saying an old timer at work would say when we ran into something that wouldn't come loose. It's pretty accurate.
