I put my lithium batteries in both of them and they worked just fine. I don't know what the original batteries that came with them looks like because mine only came with a older nicad ryobi one + battery in it. It looks like the hedge trimmer is identical to the older blue Ryobi one.

This is exactly what I thought they were. They appear to be interchangeable heads for a large torque wrench.

I have warrantied several of their tools and never had a single problem at all. You send them into Stanley/Proto and they send you back the Black-hawk equivalent.

For automotive use they are perfectly fine. I would never use one in my home however because they are huge fire hazards. I follow this guy on youtube and he has covered several of the Chinese LED's on his channel and points out just how scary they are.

I am not sure if this will help anyone but I found this in my shop and I don't think I have any tools that work with this anymore.

I know a guy that is a contractor and has used them professionally for 4 years and he said they hold up just fine.

I have done this probably 10+ times and never had a single problem. It is great for me since I am right up I95 from them I can send a regional rate box packed to the gills to them for $5 and I always get brand new tools about a week later.

I have seen those 3/4" sets go from $500-$800 over the years. With all of the other tools you could maybe get a grand out of them if someone gets in a bidding war.

They were made in Taiwan by Stanley for Craftsman. There was a big lawsuit over them and Craftsman lost. They are generally thought to be some of the worst ratchets Craftsman ever offered.

Every Tuff 1 ratchet I had ended up falling apart. It is a poor design having the screw in the middle of the selector. Even if I used loctite on them they would eventually work their way out and it was a huge pain the in the ***.
