Looking for any input on a used SO PH2045 air hammer I picked up at a pawn shop today. It sputters with no trigger press and sounds a lot like a Harley idling :) . Does this sound like I need a new trigger/seal or what else could it be? I was not able to find out much about this model online but...

You might be able to force out the shaft in a regular "cheapy" extension and use the working end, but I don't know how difficult that would be or how easily it would fit on afterwards. My google-fu was weak and this was all I could find...there probably is an answer out there though.

I just picked up a set of Evercraft 3/8 flare nut crowsfoot SAE (8 piece) set from NAPA yesterday for $23. The part number is 774-0125 . I am thinking to try and dremel a recess for the retaining bearing as their is none on this set.

I have redrilled them before by drilling a 2-1/8 hole in a piece of wood and clamped that to the door. There is a jig for drilling doors if you happen to know a locksmith. Yeah- make sure to clamp it well like spotco2 said.

Side note on calling ahead- I called to make sure they had a certain floor jack in stock and was told they had three. Get down there and none on the floor and the floor salesman says "sorry". Turns out they were "in the back" and the floor salesman was a little clueless.

If you do go with the t12 fixtures, you can replace the ballasts when you want to burn T8 bulbs. The bulb holders (we call them tombstones because of their shape) are the same size for T8s and T12s. Sometimes the bulb holders need to be rewired, but they usually will work. Ballasts aren't too...

My old Thor 6" I got in Pittsburgh yard sale some years ago. Repainted and replaced the bearings. Sometimes I have to spin it by hand to get it started. :)

For getting under the fingernails clean, take an old toothbrush and cut the bristles to about half length with some scissors. Add some soap onto the brush and it works great.
