    Gate keypad lock and lever

Just bought one of these : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N12FCOS/?tag=atomicindus08-20 And now looking at it, it appears the side that has the thumbturn isn't waterproof. Guess it was designed for use on a entry door to a building, so that makes sense. Any ideas for a keypad locking knob...

New concrete not as flat as I expected...

Larry, this discussion is about flatness, not levelness. You can be level and not flat. Is there a flatness clause in your contract? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

    approach angle for garage

The approach, worst case, that is at that slope is 3 to 4 feet. So the rise is 6 to 8 inches in 3 or 4 feet. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

    Concrete foundation beveled at doorways?

Hmm. So the form is flat and level, and you push the 1x into the concrete to the depth of the nail? While the other end of the 1x comes up to the surface? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

    replacement sewer lateral tips?

Lots of terminology here that I don't understand! 12" lifts? And 12" over it, does that mean you'd cover the pipe with that much gravel? I'm guessing 57 and 58 are references to a gravel size... Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

I'm jealous! That's fantastic. I'm also building a small attic. Can you share the building size, pitch of the roof, and a few attic pics? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk

    Siding, what to choose?

This is for a new garage. My real concern is the heat sink and radiation of the heat from the siding. Obviously, there is going to be a big door on the garage so it will be easy ventilated. But I've seen stucco that was in the sun all day stay too hot to touch for a long time after sundown. And...

    Racedeck sample and my Vespa

Mdsphoto , that looks like a pad under your Sidestand in that photo? I can imagine carefully placed sidestands might be fine. But I think for me, it would be scarred up in short order. I use my center stands on a at least 4 bikes and I use swing arm stands on others. I'm not just parking a...

safety and garage water heater / laundry ventilation

Hmm... No comments yet on the garage vents that allow the fuel vapors to escape? Perhaps these are only a California thing. These are metal vents placed along the sill plate (at floor level) of the garage. Typically I have seen 2 on each side of a free standing garage.

safety and garage water heater / laundry ventilation

I will eventually get a tankless water heater at the house, but not soon. The existing water heater us nearly new and gas. The dryer will probably be gas, but we could get an electric one. Regardless, there is an electric motor in there that could be an igniter as well.
