Fair enough! I use the 2300 on everyting now. No downside, but plenty more if you need it. Do have to lose 3mm of the mounts though. Never had a problem with the 1900. 5400 is indeed a very good deal.

We have a different outlook as well as a different planning system. Lots of old buildings are adapted and reused, but some are knocked down and replaced. Nothing wrong with wood for a building, just not in the ground. Apart from some agricultural buildings, it simply wouldn't be permitted...

Coming from the UK, the whole idea of a pole barn seems mad to me. Aside from the fact no one would ever sign it off, i think it really shows up the difference in life expectancy for buildings generally between the US and UK. We build with the expectation of the building lasting over a hundred...
