Like has been said, I'd at least go for 6 fixtures. It depends though, what wattage are the fixtures and/or bulbs? How high is the ceiling? Whatever you do, it'll be better than the existing single fixture!

From the looks of it, I assume the 6' porch will be enclosed? What're you planning to do for a floor in that area? How do you envision that area to be used, leisure/hang-out? Any lighting ideas for the porch area? I am intrigued by the porch idea, just wondering what you have envisioned for it.

:wtf: Did your microwave even turn on without tripping the breaker?!? That is also a serious fire hazard with the #18 wire on a 30 amp breaker... #14 is minimum @ 15 amps I believe.
