Our shop has a Mac one. It’s awesome for doing underdash and interior work. A bit spendy, but I didn’t pay for it I guess.

I’ve still got both at work, we work on a handful of stuff from 1940-1970 that I still use it. I’ve debated bringing some of it home to free up some space in my tool box though. I did just need a 9/16 to to replace an abs module on a 2012 caddy the other day though, kinda surprised me.

The older steelman chassis ears with wires are only like $100 on amazon. They work alright too, especially for diy stuff

Bought a set for working on something at my parents house, they were garbage. Bulky and cheap. Sold them for $10 on Craigslist immediately after. For home use the harbor freight ones are much nicer, or spend a bit more for sunex.

Wouldn’t count on it. Unpacked it wouldn’t fit in the trunk in my Audi A4. It just squeezed in the back seat, and it was super tight.

My boss has one here in the shop. It’s 80s vintage. I wouldn’t pay $700 for it, maybe $350-500. Like an above poster said, it’s not super heavy duty, so maybe light assembly at most if you’re using it as a workbench.

I’ve got the vim torx and hex half cut sockets. Use the torx quite a bit. Both are life savers at times. Probabaly need to get the triple square as well.

Mid 08 they changed the plug style. Otherwise hot and with an impact is the best

Not sure on the mac one, but I replaced a ir118max with the cp7150,and I’d put money on it hits harder. I’ve got the sae set at work. They’ve held up fine for the occasional older car that comes through the shop, used with my ir and aircat impacts. For everyday use I’d get something better, I’ve got matco for metric sizes that get used a ton

I’ve got a set of 3/8 metric impact low profiles. Not used super often but can be lifesavers. Really nice on a thin gearwrench ratchet or the Astro nano impact

The lisle socket works great with most half decent air impacts
