I did buy a Carhart flannel shirt in XL Tall that is dang near long enough. I can occasionally find shirts with a 39" sleeve in XL but they are hard to come by and cost about twice as much as they ought to.\.

Coveralls. in the summer just boxers under them. colder weather I wear jeans and flannel shirts under. My arms are long enough that even tall shirts only cover me to mid forearm so the shirts rarely get dirty, just my wrists and forearms.

Back in the early 80's I worked for a place with a high $ powder paint system. I sandblasted my truck's rear step and tow bumper and ran it through. Bumper outlasted 4 trucks and there was still no rust. Not sure how a trailer would do but I assume it would work pretty well.
