a little more progress today. Yes, it is galvanized. There isn't a whole lot of welding to be done, but I am sanding the galvanized coating off where I am doing the welds. I also plan to wear a respirator when I weld it up. Only tack welds so far and I do not put my face directly over the smoke.

I didn't get much done today... but here are a couple more clues:

the tubing is just 3/4" conduit and it is not being used for electrical....

keep guessing, hopefully tomorrow there will be more progress and new pics for even more entertaining guesses. I liked the giant marshmallow fork guess, don't give my kids any ideas.

I picked up the same HF 3 ton Low Pro the other day but I haven't used it yet. I had to replace my Northern Tool cheapo 2 ton that I have used for 14 years. If I get 14 out of this one for $49.99 I will consider it a good deal.
