    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

WOW! That is a heck of a deal, thanks for pointing it out. I've been kicking around getting the M18 blower anyway. This is basically two 6.0 batteries for ≈$35 then. Can't beat that. So I took a shot at it, we'll see here shortly if Milwaukee accepts it.

    Evolution saw s355mcs

I too have the S15CPS, they didn't make the S355MCS when I bought mine. That said, I am extremely happy with the saw. Accurate cuts and blades last a surprisingly long time if you treat them right. Only draw back is they are very very loud (ear pro not optional, it's required). Lots of chips...

Why don’t US tool manufacturers put “Made in [city, state]” anymore?

Multiple manufacturing locations making the same part is likely part of it. Multiple part numbers for the same part is a cardinal sin in lean manufacturing. That and, likely outside Garage Journal, the vast buying public probably doesn't care enough.

Wow that went fast! Posted it right after I received the text message from Acme. I need to stop 'thinking about it first' on some of these deals :)

Not a terrible deal at Acme https://www.acmetools.com/milwaukee-m18-redlithium-forge-xc60-battery-pack-48-11-1861/045242797387.html

Good price for sure. The 6.0 batteries strike me as odd though. They're physically the same size as the 8.0s, so other than possibly cost, I'm unsure what their purpose is.

Am I getting old? No more air impacts?

As with many here, just a home gamer (though I do occasionally work on vehicles off site), and have a combination of air and cordless. Aside from a cordless drill I am very late to the game on converting to cordless. Cordless definitely have their place in the shop and in a two care garage...

The high-torque was lonely so I burned some Amazon gift cards and got it a mid-torque friend.

I too have an old brushed M18 drill I can’t kill but is on its second chuck (there’s a common theme here…). Have a new brushless one that puts it to shame though.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Ordered a set of New Age Pro 3.0 cabinets last month and got around to hanging them. Makes the workbench look small now but freed up a lot of space. Will need to order a couple more shelves for the taller cabinets. Plan to make a shelf that extends from the end of the right cabinet to the...

From the hot deals thread. I am weak… 😀 High Torque with a 5.0 ah battery. Paired that with a lugnut socket set. Been wanting a couple of the sockets but found a deal on the whole set. Will be nice being able to toss this combo in one of the vehicles for road trips.

I have that DW235G. It's an animal and doesn't care one bit about your wrist, or elbow, or shoulder... :) But when I absolutely positively need a big hole in something it's the go to choice.

Thanks. The cutoff disk was another thought I had, could be handy buying structural steel on market place. Being able to cut it into shorter pieces to get in the truck. Thanks, good to hear! Will have to give it a try and see.

BF buy M18 Top-Off inverter, 2880-20 grinder and a couple 5.0 batteries. Never used a cordless grinder but think it’ll be handy for some small/quick jobs without having to drag out a corded unit.
