In my opinion after sealing it and waxing it with a mop 3 times, you HAVE to rent a high speed buffer. It is a must. $45 for an hour or so of labor and the results are amazing. You will use a Hogs Hair pad. Go to a specialty shop and ask some questions.
Thanks.... I do love the look. The up keep is an hour every other week. Move the cars out; Blow the dirt and dust out and then damp mop it. I figure twice a year I'll rent the high-speed buffer.

Well, it's been 8 months since I put the VCT floor in. I rented a high-speed polisher and used a little polish on the floor. Bottom line is, I would do it again. There are some brown spots on the white tiles from the tires, but it's a garage.
I used an aluminum strip you can see at the bottom of the photo. I bought it at Home Depot. I used a concrete glue to afix it. It is the same thickness at the tile and has not moved.

The wax I used was "Tri Valley Diamond Gloss 35". It is a local companies that they have repackaged. No idea who orig made it. I use Husky Multi-Porpose Rejunenator with the 2000 RPM high speed...
I have lain over 900 square feet of VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) following the instructions of this post. I have sealed, waxed.
I still get to rent a 17-inch high-speed polisher to put the final touch and mirror like finish on it.
