Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

I really like the idea for using a shade fabric over the cathedral style ribs, and I don't think I've seen anything done quite like that. You have the mad skills to do it, so I'm looking forward to see how it ends up.

    Mark's Monster Garage....3800 sq ft

The exterior pictures at dusk turned out awesome. Your friend has some serious skills. You should print them, frame them, and hang them somewhere in your garage...

    One day a Mustang...

Thanks again for the welcome. I had found the website last year and saw all the impressive things you guys were doing with your garages. Like Kevin54 said, its a great place for ideas.

    One day a Mustang...

It is the original paint. Its in really good shape but at some point I'll need to replace the door seal, its not very flexible anymore. With the garage, I want to make sure its completely organized so that when I do find that project car, I won't have to climb over stuff, or search for tools...

    One day a Mustang...

Here's a pic of the Fridge. I've seen some that were painted, one was a black with silver ghost flames that was sweet, but I don't have plans to do anything with it other than to hold my beer and gatorade... [/IMG] I also have the manual, which is in insanely good shape for being 60...

    One day a Mustang...

Originally I was going to paint the cabinets all one color. If I had found the red hammertone, my goal was to make them have the kind of texture of old toolboxes. Or if I had found the light blue hammertone, they would have had a similar texture to the old tackle boxes which are on the top of...

Remodeled garage and bought/sold house: your experience?

There was an episode of Sweat Equity on DIY Network a few years ago, and the guy had built custom cabinets and spent a lot to make it nice. Ultimately it added equity, but not as much as it had cost him. I think its more important to do what you want with your garage and not worry about...

    One day a Mustang...

Thanks for the welcome. I painted the panels with Rustoleum's hammered metal spray. I was originally going to use red, but nobody in the box stores sell it. In hindsight, I like the look of the silver more. The fridge is a 50's Gibson, that my grandma had for years. When she died in 1998...

    One day a Mustang...

I had a 1966 Mustang for about ten years, which I sold a few years ago. Long story short, I regret selling it, and now I have a bigger garage, and one day, I'll have another Mustang in it. But first, I'm going to build the shop to house it in. The garage is a three car, tandem set up. When...
