Got an email today from Tekton. They now have more choices of drawer configurations and different tops and I also think they're deeper now. Really considering the 48 inch model with all wide drawers and the top with the lip.

If I could get the Matco for only $50 more I would since the adapters are aluminum vs plastic on the Astro. I think the Matco is the same as the mastercool 43301.

I've got both the snap on and the OEM tools version and they work great. The OEM tools seems like it might be made out of a little cheaper plastic but it works fine and honestly might be exactly the same. You can also get them from AutoZone for cheaper than Amazon.

I didn't know about that method for late model GM's thanks! Seems strange they would allow on board programming with no programmed transponder. Especially with after market tools to remove the cylinder without turning it.

That entirely depends on the year of the vehicle and how many keys you have. 2017+ requires 2 keys to add another. So if you have 2 and want a 3rd no problem but if you only have 1 you need to be able to either buy the pin or pull it with a tool.

Seriously. Normally I get the upgraded downgraded version. Used the 1822 v2 on a front wheel bearing on a Corolla and suspension work on a crusty escape and worked like a champ. Not super heavy used but very happy with it.

Funny timing I JUST bought an 1822 over the weekend and it got delivered today and I hadn't opened the box yet, but sure enough its a v2. Awesome!

That's a pretty decent cloner have one and use it a few times a month. Mainly when doing EEPROM work on old toyotas / acuras. I think you'll like it.

The closest I've found to the old Armstrong wrenches are the Cornwell version. 12 point and 72 tooth, they are made in Taiwan however. MUCH better than the new Matco IMO just because of them not being spline drive.
