I was pretty stoked to see the pedestal base on FBM. I have a table saw and jointer with the pedestal bases. Though I have no intentions of doing so, I think I could get my $60 back on the base by itself.

If you have a floor model, I would get the DP-PRO table. It's a little thick for a bench top, but really nice on a floor model. Check out my Delta DP-220 in the "Show Us Your Delta" thread. It has the DP-PRO on it.

ToolEnthusiasts, have you pulled those bearing caps off yet? I believe you'll find the bearings in there are open and can be greased in place. Might try that before replacing them. With the caps off, it's pretty easy to tell if the bearings are just dried out, or truly shot.
