Google him - you can see many other pages where he's left negative feedback and demanded money or a refund. Seems it is his way of supporting himself. Report him, post a response to his negative comment, and forget about him.

I would paint it. Being a different color, they really stand out from the house. I would want them to blend in. After all, the house is the focal point, not the retaining walls. I really like your house - very charming,:thumbup:

Some more progress. They cut the hole in the floor for the mid-rise lift. Next they have to put a box in the floor on the left side and connect it with 1" pvc to the cutout - this is what I'll run the hydraulic hose through. Would have been a lot easier if they did it all at the strat, but as...

Just some friendly advice - don't do a cash job. Ever. Get a contract and pay by check. Give yourself a paper trail and the ability to prove what was or wasn't done. Even if it's your brother, get everything in writing.

No extra land - the house is on a half acre lot. Plenty big enough for me.

A little more progress. Drywall is in. Here's a pic of the 4th garage bay. It's a stiching of multiple pictures, so it has a fish-eye look, but it gives you an idea of the space. I'm really excited about this space. I'm open for suggestions about utilizing all the vertical space for storage.

Some more progress on the house. the 3 car garage has a bonus room above it, so it will be a flat ceiling. uckily, the lot has a left to right slope, which gives the 3 car garage some extra height. The ceiling will be close to 11 feet - woohoo!

OMG, the children..time to panick! Sorry, couldn't resist. Mine's set at 140 and I know how to mix cold and hot water, and so does my 5 year old (who is surpervised in the tub btw).
