Thats a commercial door frame. As has been said it should have clips that go between the door and framing to hold the door. However if it is being installed in a masonary opening we used to drill like you are and use a masonary anchor to hold it.

There is almost no chance that I would take the mower out to the woods. Having the brush hog, there would be no need to have the mower in the woods.
