Is the Craftsman 9-1/2 in. Scraper/Pry Bar worth buying?

The Dasco set is still USA. The advantage is not to over leverage what you are prying and as stated fit into smaller areas.

Is the Craftsman 9-1/2 in. Scraper/Pry Bar worth buying?

GO to home depot and pick up the Dasco set with 3 different sizes for 9.99. When I was in construction I used the living hell out of the bar to remove baseboard without damaging the sheetrock for remodels. Here is the link to the set...

Grease gun - air or battery powered has more force?

The garbage Lincoln guns 20v at work are rated for up to 10000 psi. the even crappier 18v is rated for 7500 psi. Battery has pretty good force, just don't buy the Lincoln they are very poor quality and do not last.

Blue Point, Blackhawk, JH Williams, Silver Eagle

I have some Williams USA Kobalt brand wrenches and those are excellent, if the modern USA ones are similar they are good quality. Blackhawk USA wrenches I have a couple, are also pretty good. Silver eagle, blue point, and Williams Taiwan, save money and get the cheapest ones you can find. No...

    Why become a mechanic?

I disagree, anyone with mechanical skills can make good money. Most industrial plants will hire someone at the bottom of the food chain and you will move up. Most industrial mechanics make 20+ a hour after a few years of experience. Most companies will pay for any classes and certificates too...

    Why become a mechanic?

Go into industrial, lots of money to be had. Auto mechanics have a difficult job with todays vehicles. I had to do some work on a company cobalt that I diagnosed with a bad idle air relay/valve, and in turn filled the air pump full of water (condensation) trashing it. My god, they need to scale...

Do you use 3/8" breaker bar? on anything besides lug nuts?

I use mine to break my 12 pt 13 mm sockets. Why? I am usually loosening a 13mm 12pt bolt that is really difficult to fit a 1/2 breaker and socket in there. I use my 3/8 breaker with a nice 4ft pipe usually does it.

I have warrantied a few tools, many were discontinued. I warrantied a USA breaker from the 90s, model no longer made, gave me the longest 1/2 breaker they had, I warrantied a SK style USA ratchet, they gave me a comparable new model Taiwan flex head, and have warrantied some adjustables. If...

    How strong are ratcheting wrenches???

The new SK X frame should handle that bolt with no issue. I have broken my fair share of USA cman ratchet wrenches, but I abuse them, double wrench, pipes etc.. I am looking into the SK SAE set but I want to wait to see if they release a expanded set.
