    Realistic Value vs. Market Value for tools

    To me, insurance value is simply replacement value. If it disappears or is destroyed, what would it cost to replace? I would say insure it all at new MSRP.

    Very interesting. I've though often of doing something similar. My compressor when new was the biggest 115v oilless unit sold at Sears and it is painfully loud.
