    Epoxy-set anchors usually have substantially higher pull-out strengths then wedge anchors for a given diameter. Hole prep/ cleaning is extra-important, as the bond of the epoxy to the concrete is what gives you the strength. I'd skip the quikrete though and go to www.powers.com.
