    Truck's shop build

You have to at least have footers. Concrete floor is not required, you can have dirt, gravel, whatever. The building is supported by downward force on the base, thus the required footers. Truck

Don't know why but search is not working for me and it won't hit on "VCT" even though there is a thread on this page.... Anyway, here are my questions? 1. How well does it hold up to movement on it (ie. vehicles, forklift, steel wheeled engine hoist)? 2. How durable is it (steel wheels...

Plumbing in a shop sink in detached garage

I agree with the above. Don't know where you are, but the frost line makes a difference on how deep you bury the line. 1 cold line "T"d of the house, buried however deep the county says, then run a on demand water heater or a small 10 gal tank (it will fit under the utility sink). Truck

    Citrogarage

This is awesome. I love the cobblestone drive and the memorbilia you have displayed. You are doing great work. Reminds me of the 400yr old cottage we owned in the UK that we did some restoration/modernizaton work on. I miss that place. Truck

    Deal on a shop helper

Thanks PMech I'll check that out. As to size and space the forklift is only 3.5' wide x 7.5' long, so it is actually taking up less space and I can move it around when necessary. An yes, tons more useful. Truck

    Deal on a shop helper

Here are pix of the other stuff... Tatra/Pmech: I haven't really checked into it much yet. The service manual doesn't cover the propane system so any help would be great. I just went and looked and it is a Impco system (not sure where to find model #, wasn't obvious). Here are some pix. It...

    Deal on a shop helper

Okay, so I built the lofts in the shop see my build thread here: shop build and I've had a dilemma on how I was going to get heavy or bulky items up there. I didn't want to build a huge stair case taking valuable room in the shop. I thought about building a pallet dock platform for the lift...

    Jeepskate's Joint

I picked up some pallet rack, some for free and some other thrown in with a different purchase. I plan on using it up in my loft area. If I didn't have the garage door in the back my loft could have been a nice size for an office (24x12). Still not bad as it is but I need it for storage...
