what are the pros and cons of the Hammer feature? when im precision drilling like extracting with slow speed cobalt bits will it negatively impact my extraction? how about high speed drilling with HSS bits? im just starting in the diesel field... will i want to pay more to have this feature...

Do you think that with the student discount the hammer drill 18v lithium is good? If I already have the impact gun same batteries too?

Actually I plan on using them on hand drills and even drill press in the future. All around use. I haven't bought a drill yet but since I already have the 18v lithium impact snapon I'm thinking about getting the hammer drill too

i was told by someone that after owning a gear wrench set for a while, it's good to dip the ratcheting end in clean oil and to ratchet it a little while its in the oil to ensure that the gearwrenches last a long time, especially if i dont use them often. is this true? thanks
