Watching paint dry. Other than me packing out the contents in the tent (note security by Collie - the cord is for my beer fridge), had the floor done by FloorGuard. The color is called Quarry. We'll see how it holds up to Chicago winters.
Re: Rick's Audi Double
Rick, continued awe at your work and commitment. I've adopted many of your ideas in my garage. Can you advise on the type of grease you're using on your wheel spacers? Mine seem to fuse to the brake disk after use. thanks.
Dubber, in post # 1445, you have a nice looking floor jack that seems low enough to get under your side skirts. Can you tell me which brand/model that is? I need something that can get under a low car. thanks.
GR8PL8 too. Love that you were able to get the color match. My neighbor has a CTS V coupe - shakes my house windows when he starts it up every morning.
Garage sale special. Sony "gaming" surround sound with sub, Terk FM antennae, old school XM radio home dock with ext antennae. Fills the garage with sound just fine for < $40. Sitting on a 5 shelf SS baker's rack that I picked up from my company's auction site for another $40.
Thanks for the lighting detail - stealing it. My little postage stamp lot is 50X130 and my annual taxes are $16.5K. Thank you, Illinois, for your financial mismanagement.
One of the finest garages I've seen on this board. Love the truck's current stance. Where do you hide all the routine garage **** like your lawn mower, kids toys and such? My daily driver is '01 996 C4 Tip and has to share the garage with all of the above and it gets tight from time to time...
