    Draining your compressor

So this device basically just opens the drain valve for a few secs a day, then closes it? Enough for it to get the moisture out? What about 2oolhound's comments? with temps needing to be equal otherwise moisture will build regardless. While i appreciate the few secs trick isn't probably as...

Metallic Epoxy for a garage floor ?

You may of seen my post last week, asking advice of going with garage floor tiles in Sunny SW Florida. I think i'm going to settle for a metallic epoxy finish, as that's my favored look that i'm looking for. Plus it'll sweep up nicely, and that's important to me.. As it stands i have an ugly...

    Draining your compressor

So, i know why you 'should' drain your compressor, to get the water out of it. and if you don't it could start to rust the compressor's innards. But what about those of us that have large 30gal compressors ? Is there any other option? Seems such as waste of energy, to drain out 30gallons...

    Tile flooring in SW Florida

Also guys, what about grinding ? does it need to be done by a pro? or can the likes of a noob do it? I saw one at Taylor Rental Diamond something or another 11hp, top of their line at least, for $275 per day... Now i don't mind paying $275 as long as its for ONLY a day... If i was to pay $550...

    Tile flooring in SW Florida

I like the 'cosmetic' look of these, but worried that sand and dust will quickly build up in the ribbed recesses. It would involve a whole lot of vacuuming, rather than a quick sweep of a soft broom.

    Tile flooring in SW Florida

So cutting a long story short, i was sold the wrong paint at lowes 4yrs ago to paint my garage floor after etching it with acid and a week of not driving on it. The paint immediately pulled it up the first day i had wet tires. Got my money back from Lowes, but 4 yrs on and with lots of it now...

How to paint my problem garage floor ?

Simply put, I love spending time in my garage. I find myself sweeping it almost daily to keep it nice and clean and free from any grit that somehow manages to find its way in there. I do all my own maintenance and upgrades on my cars and bikes. And love cleaning my cars / bikes in my garage. I'm...

How to paint my problem garage floor ?

Bought my home 4yrs ago from new & I went to Lowes and asked what paint did I need to buy to paint my garage floor. They sold me a few tins of garage paint, and something else (i think it was an acid type product) to etch the floor as a pre-requesite. So anyway, took the day off, scrubbed the...
