PghJKB, Thanks for the info. I knew it was a milling vise just wasn't sure who/where it came from. It is massive. I will be sure to get some more history on it with the information you provided. $35.....figured I couldn't go wrong.

Can someone educate me on this beast? Just grabbed it today as a target of opportunity while picking up the butcher block in the background.

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

Picked these up on Saturday. Really clean and a nice set of casters. They are getting unstacked and put side by side. It will take the primary bench position soon. They are 33” tall so I built a 4x4 base. Paint for the base next. It will be perfect height for me once the top is in place. I’m...

Drives, It’s a 22. I’ve put it on here before. Great vise. The blue one was a Wilton 1760 with jaw inserts. I actually did just sell that one. A guy came up from the South Bay Area to get it. About 4 hours round trip. Not to say I haven’t driven further for something I wanted. Replaced...

Smitty, thanks. That is interesting. Pretty neat to see the exact same flaw on another C2. Wasn’t sure about the brown but I like the way it turned out.

Vise and Grinder stands. I'm looking for ideas on how to use several in limited space

Drives, I am always impressed on how you guys transport these things especially without a truck. It’s awesome! Once I pick up that other #22 I’ll decide which one to keep and probably off load the other one. Sent from my iPhone using Garage Journal

C2 complete. It was actually in pretty good shape. Someone took a grinder to the back of it though messing up the name on the Schiller Park casting. Guessing they were trying to figure out how to get the pins out. Sent from my iPhone using Garage Journal
