That's what I heard about those ones. Maybe I will find a used one. It's nice to have heavy magnification but be able to sit back at arms length or so. I found the optivisor one but the 3x one has only inches for a working length which isn't quite so comfortable.

I will have to look into the more power optivisor. I believe mine is the 2x and I see they have a 3.5x that might just be the thing. If I am doing carburetor jets especially I like to see everything.

As I get older seeing close up is not what it once was. I have an optivisor but I do so much of this I would like to get a very good one and powerful magnification. I also double use this for splinters for the kids etc. Curious to know what you might use for your finer jobs like this. Thank you...

I think all of these are made under gear wrench's patent so the better name really isn't gaining any quality at all.

That is interesting. I just used some of this on a gap on a car hood between two panels to stop some slight rattling. It worked great. Not sure about the spelling too, very strange. What I read seems to indicate that both spellings are OK.
