Best magnifying visor for detailed work

That's what I heard about those ones. Maybe I will find a used one. It's nice to have heavy magnification but be able to sit back at arms length or so. I found the optivisor one but the 3x one has only inches for a working length which isn't quite so comfortable.

Best magnifying visor for detailed work

I will have to look into the more power optivisor. I believe mine is the 2x and I see they have a 3.5x that might just be the thing. If I am doing carburetor jets especially I like to see everything.

Best magnifying visor for detailed work

As I get older seeing close up is not what it once was. I have an optivisor but I do so much of this I would like to get a very good one and powerful magnification. I also double use this for splinters for the kids etc. Curious to know what you might use for your finer jobs like this. Thank you...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Ok so I saw the Stihl and figured this one would be ok. My new Toro Greens Mower. First is the picture from the ad and the second is back to full glory! I made a video on my channel showing the work on it. An amazing find owned likely by a wealthy gent that probably used it 3 times based on what...

    wiha ratcheting combination wrench set

I think all of these are made under gear wrench's patent so the better name really isn't gaining any quality at all.

Snap On Air Compressor 15 years old - Maintenance?

I use this Snap On / Big Red compressor (120v) fairly regularly (2x week). I drain it once every few weeks or so. When I bought it the drain was clogged with rusty water, I got it clear and then rinsed this inside of the tank and it's been great for years. I change the compressor oil every few...

    Epoxy Coat 8 years later

I apologize for not having a pic of this yet, I will shortly but I wanted to share that this floor has held up very well and not failed at all. I purchased and did this install myself and I a blown away at the longevity (now 8 years) That being said it has begun to show a little signs of tire...

Best calk stays soft & works great in any situation

That is interesting. I just used some of this on a gap on a car hood between two panels to stop some slight rattling. It worked great. Not sure about the spelling too, very strange. What I read seems to indicate that both spellings are OK.

Happy to see some inexpensive US Made crimpers at Lowes

I miss when Lowes sold Knipex and some other high end brands. I was very surprised to see a decent looking pair of crimpers that are US Made by Idealfor 8.75! Very amazing price for this in my opinion. They must be on clearance but maybe it's worth looking in your local store...

Best calk stays soft & works great in any situation

I made this video to tell you about a product that I have had for a while and finally had a good opportunity to use a few days ago. I think it's the best there is. Very unusual properties. I included a short demo so you can see it in action. I never heard of this product until it was spec'd...

World's best oil filter wrench video?

:bounce: I can assure you that I won't run out of gloves anytime soon and I have personally used the wrench shown at least 40 times. I wouldn't make it as a professional mechanic but I do love tools and all things mechanical. Best wishes

World's best oil filter wrench video?

I think the big difference with this one is that it never slips whereas I have had a strap wrench slip many times. The toothed edge is what allows it to do this. Is it worth the $? That's entirely up to the buyer. Many moons ago I had a filter tear apart using channel lock type pliers. It was...

    Video: Honda EU7000is Oil Change

Now I know many of you are very mechanically capable on here. Possibly you may not own this generator or this isn't your speciality my video might be helpful or interesting to you. My friend lived off his 6500 in his cabin for 2 years straight and it was still going when he finally go street...

I made some video reviews of the Honda EU7000is

I know they are big money. Over the years I started with an older one, then sold it and upgraded to the 3000, then to a 6500 and then finally to this one. I have been lucky to build up generator "equity" so it never felt like I was paying the full price for it, but I agree the $4kUS is a lot of...
