That's the one change I would make to my existing garage if I had the expansion room. I would move the 80 Gal. 2 stage compressor outside. It is really loud.

I recently put 1/2" OSB on the walls of my new garage. I'm lucky because around here it was only $6.99/sheet. The finish isn't as nice as drywall but I sure like being able to run a wood screw in it any where I need.

I bouight my T-8 lights from Lowe's and have the same problem.

I just added a second attched garage with OSB on the walls and was only required to have fire rated drywall on the common wall with the house. Actually the common wall is stone, but I had to use fire rated drywall on the gable where it joined the house.
