The bottom 4' of the wall will be black. Above that will be a 8" orange strip and the rest of the wall will be either a light gray or white. A Harley theme look is what I am trying to accomplish. That for the reply and info. Gary

Never thought about wallpaper. I have seen some photos on here that have the black and orange paint job and thought it looked nice. I have a Harley and a few little signs, more to come though, so I thought I go with the "Harley" theme look. Gary

Painting a stripe UGreetings, I am in need of expert advice and there are plenty of you here. I am wanting to paint the inside of my garage. 4' black with a 6" or 8" orange stripe. How do I get the lines nice and straight and which do I paint first, the orange or the black? Another question...

True , so very true. Here is the info I left out. One using aluminum on the lathe. Gary

The blade balancer was more of a project for the lathe than to actually balance the blades. It's funny how there have been so many comments on how to or not to balance a blade and none on how to make the balancer which was the original question. Gary

I have never use a file. I have either used a bench grinder or a body grinder. That is what i will use this time (body grinder). We have used various different methods for balancing or we haven't balanced at all, just grind and go. I just thought it would be a nice little project to make...
