Just got the new Milwaukee M12 work light

Got mine from CPO for $63.20, 20% off the regular price of $79 when purchased with a new tool of some kind. Placed my order Thursday morning and it was waiting at my doorstep when I got home Friday evening. They didnt have the magnet base in stock. I figure I will try to find a magnetic...

Milwaukee M12 ratchet or Snap On Cordless?

I broke the anvil on my M12 1/4 in about a month of everyday use. Wanting to get my hands on a SO 3/8, but I am thinking from the pics I wont like the size of the battery. If thats the case I will likely end up with the M12 3/8 ratchet to take some of the load off the M12 1/4.

Milwaukee M12 ratchet or Snap On Cordless?

Yes I think it will be only because the anvil is going to be stronger on the snapon. I currently have the M12 1/4 ratchet, love it. But I broke the anvil in just a couple months. Havent treated it any worse than I have my 1/4 air ratchet. I was going to get the m12 3/8 because I figure it would...

    Dear Milwaukee, I hate you!

I just gut my m18 Fuel 3/8 impact yesterday and used it at work today. Awesome tool, light weight, and doesnt seem to vibrate as much as my M18 1/2" impact or the snapon 3/8 impact that I have used. So I thought to myself "I will have to buy the 1/2" fuel hi-torque impact if they come out with...

There has been a couple times, when doing timing belts, where the M12 ratchet wouldnt fit and had to use my Mac 1/4 air ratchet.

    Milwaukee m12 tools

I only have the M12 1/4 ratchet. I use it all day everyday the battery usually lasts 1 day and has a little charge left. While I do like it, I will say you cant abuse it like you can a Mac or SO air ratchet. The anvil is just not strong enough compaired to my Mac and SO air ratchet. I have used...

    Tool truck "convenience"

I buy and have bought from the tools trucks for as long as I have been a mechanic. Currently the SO man gets my money when I buy from a tool truck, but I also buy online. SO man gets my money because of customer service. There are some things that cheaper stuff will hold up just fine, like 1/2"...

    Proper names for parts?

I dont work at a dealership. Independent shop owner is "service manager". He has one other person that helps him with customers and parts. Supposedly he worked on cars for a living, I find that harder to believe every day.lol

    Proper names for parts?

This is just a pic I got off internet. Car in questing is a Ford escape. The bearing presses into the trailing arm assembly which is the part we need, boss ordered a hub.

    Proper names for parts?

What are the parts called in the picture? Pretty sure I am right hub on the left, bearing in the middle and bearing housing on the right. My boss wants to call them a flange on the left, bearing, and hub on the right.

    Snap-on's New Cordless Ratchet Lineup

I didnt realize these are going to be so small, very cool. I asked my dealer about them yesterday, he had no idea what I was talking about. He said sometimes they release new items in just one part of the country and then release it to the rest of the country later.
