Gearwrench 1/4” stubby SAE hex set. Got it after doing a PTU fluid drain and fill on a 2018 Ford Edge. Uses a 1/4” hex bit for the drain plug tucked nicely where my existing hex bit sockets can’t fit! Good excuse to buy more tools to make the job easier next time.

CDI manufactures micrometer torque wrenches for W&B based off their website. It looks like W&B only manufactures their deflecting beam torque wrenches in house.

I was looking for a 3/8" wrench and passed the PI one up because of its weird torque range. 100ftlbs is well into 1/2" wrench range. I wish they made a 5-75ftlbs. Ended up getting a used snap on clicker.

I have a couple of these, they sell them at Princess Auto (kind of HF equivalent in Canada). Really great feeling hammers. PA also sells Bondhus hex keys, and a selection of Lisle specialty automotive tools. Kind of nice to see amongst the sea of cheap tools.

How was the experience ordering to Canada? Any issues? Might make a purchase soon.

Odd, I wonder what the difference between the "E" and non "E" version is, ours both look identical. Also weirdly enough the latest version is QD2FR75B. So it doesn't even seem like its a revision, or an uplevel to the part number. Either way I'm excited to put it to use!

Ebay find. Snap on QD2FR75 5-75ft-lb 3/8 flex head. Used but in great shape. Looks like around 2013 vintage if the case is correct. Last calibrated in 2017. Might get this and my other snap on wrench checked at some point, but it should be fine for my home gamer needs.

Are you me? I literally just picked one of these up on a whim at HD a few days ago. I like it so far, at least the magnet is much better than the Rover USB stick light, and I like that you can just stick a big 6AH in it, the battery life on the USB stick light doesn't impress me.

Man, this exact thing happened to me with a 3/8 pearl blue long hard handle flex head. Handle showed up very off square. Only thing is Snap on customer service made me send it back, then wait 4 weeks for a new one to show up only for it to also be off square.... I guess the Canada CS branch is...

I was definitely in a situation where I could've used a long handle 1/4 drive ratchet this weekend dropping the trans pan on my F150. I might look into something in the 8-10" range.

I wish there were more options with higher tooth count heads. I've been trying to find a used snap on 3/8" torque wrench for this reason alone.

Perfectly fine to jack an F150 up by the rear differential housing, as long as you avoid the jack pad touching the lip of the cover (hence the wood block). The owners manual only states otherwise due to the fact that it is unsafe to do so with the factory jack, as it can twist and fall due to...

My first Nepros. 3/8 compact flex head. All I can say is... wow :bowdown: Beautiful fit and finish. Very low backdrag especially compared to a Snap on TF72.

Williams USA Metric Sockets 8-19mm deep and shallow. I have a Snap On 8mm as well, they are indeed incredibly similar bar the groove cut into the williams, and the stamping (obviously). I really like the deeper colour of chrome that the Williams have. I look forward to putting these to good use!

OTC S06 pics below. As I said in a preview post, welds are only ok, but good enough for passenger car use. Last pic shows them in use under my F150. I do like the triangular feet on them, should help keep them stable.

My pair of OTC S06 stands came in, will share pics later. Holy cow they are far bigger than I anticipated. Welds look ok ish, but I won't be using these anywhere near their full capacity so I'm not too bothered about it.
