Re. the Speedglas, it has the on/off switch inside? If you forget to turn it off does it turn off automatically or just stay on until the batteries die? This is the only concern I have with it, not a deal breaker but I'm used to just picking up the old HF and using it, no switches at all.

Looks like he used a white wire for a hot, that is not good, should be two blacks and a ground. It will work fine but has the potential to kill someone later on who mistakes it for a neutral if they don't check it first.
