Here are a few more pictures of the modified S-52 ratchet. The head looks to have been machined down and the selector is taller than some of the others I own.

Picked up this Williams S-52 ratchet recently. It's a bit odd in that the handle has a push button switch for what I assume was a light that was mounted further up the handle near the head. Not sure what type of battery would have been used (AAA perhaps). My Google searches haven't turned up...

Koken is pretty good stuff , especially current production, I wouldn't be sending it to Goodwill.

I ate at the Poughkeepsie location so many times, they had 3rd restaurant in New Windsor NY too. Always great food. Sadly both locations are long gone, replaced by a Buffalo Wild Wings in Poughkeepsie & a hotel in New Windsor........progress.......I guess.

Maybe the blades got bent/damaged by something being sucked in through the screen/guard. The pulsation may be from the blades not being "balanced" or slightly out of pitch with each other. I have the same fan that fell off a table causing the guard to deform and strike the blades. Had to bend...
