    2020 Garage Sale Thread

Nice opening write up LS. Good luck to all in 2020. I found the 2019 thread mid-summer and it took awhile to catch up but it was definitely educational and entertaining. My resolution is to keep up with the posts this year. No sales locally so I picked up a free front loading LG washer off CL...

    Vintage Vise Emblems/Sticker/Decals

AW: Thanks for your efforts, all the emblems are excellent. I was debating about keeping my Paramo as found or restoring it, now I think I will try my hand at a restoration using your handiwork. Thanks again.

    Show your “Crowntop” Craftsman

Here's a Crowntop "cashbox" I picked up recently. Neat green color and sturdy. Numbered lock but no key. Hopefully it cleans up a bit more.

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

Recent find at an estate/moving sale. Assume it was sold as a cash box or for similar purpose. Good shape, hopefully the stains clean up a little more, no key but lock is numbered. Any idea as to age and scarcity of the green Crowntop tag/logo? Thanks

    MAC combo wrench finish ?

Found this lone MAC combo wrench at a recent estate sale. Good condition with a bit of rust but it also appears to have gray paint on the entire surface. Would this be from the factory or owner applied? Would it have been part of a government contract or industrial kit? Just curious before it...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Oregon: Agree on the sticker, kinda wish it was on the front hinged panel so it would be visible all the time. The box was mounted on a piece of plywood with 4 casters when I got it. Guessing the last user worked on stuff that was low and the box moved around with him.

J H Williams vintage hand tools

Picked up this Williams box recently. Probably made by MBC, missing the lock, has a few extra holes where someone added a hasp at one time but otherwise it is in great shape. Black krinkle paint on top and a cool Pratt & Whitney sticker on the back. Removeable tray too. It got a good cleaning...

    Vintage Williams Rolling Tool Chest

Came across this top box recently. Lock is long gone but the bars are still there. Looks like someone had installed a lock hasp at some point but it too is gone now.

New here, 1st post, but I have been reading this thread and others for the past few weeks. Very informative and fun. Picked up this box recently. It has some damage, lock is missing, a few extra holes where someone added a lock hasp at one time and a big decal on the back but overall it seems...
