    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

This was after the 2nd coat. The few areas it was puddled from the first coat I just blended with the roller.

    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

Today was the day I got the 8510 sprayed down. Another easy to use product. First coat I just sprayed down to saturate it. The concrete started soaking it up and any areas it puddled I just used the roller to wipe through it. After the first coat was done i went back and started the 2nd. I...

    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

So far yes, I've only put down the densifier so far though, I'll be doing the 8510 on Saturday. I don't think this product is a topical coating, I think it actually soaks into the concrete.

    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

I actually did not. I used warm water....goes through an iron filter and a softener. Hopefully itll be ok. I did read about distilled water on GJ but it didn't say you needed it on the bottle.

    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

I was thinking armorpoxy as well, but just couldn't spend the money on it, I also did not want to grind my fresh floor. I ground the concrete in my basement and it was the worst time doing it. Very time consuming. So far I'm at a total of $1,175 in material. I will most likely be able to...

    Ghostshield 4500/8510 install

So I ended up just going with the ghostshield products. I liked the reviews it got, the way it keeps a natural looking easy to maintain floor. The price point and also the customer service of ordering through Garageflooringllc.com. Today I started the process of getting my floor done. I...

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

I may even just try that....that'll be the straightest cut. I got it from a roofer off craigslist. It was all brand new in the bundles, I had to open them to fit in the trailer.

Garage Design - Show me your windows to the World...

After working in a shop with no windows of any sort, I made it a point to have plenty of natural light. I mean who doesn't love a beautiful sunny day! So I have 5 windows, 9lite entry doors and garage doors with windows. Even thought I don't have power yet I still like when I walk in there and...

4 post lift anyone!? Atlas or others?

I just purchased an advantage sw11000wd. I haven't received it yet(because I just ordered it Thursday). This has a similar footprint to all of them, has thicker steel, the pads extend past the column, can fit a dually up on it, still keeps a standard width between the runways so you can use...

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

PwC I saw your build...looks great and you truly save a ton of money with those trusses! Thank you for the feedback on this issue. I asked the guy I got it from he said sawzall as well. I was thinking circular saw though, might get a straighter cut. I'll try a nice fine blade.

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

Ed that looks great! I'm thinking then maybe I'll just paint it and see how that looks. I wanted the foil faced but this stuff sells quick so I figured I couldn't pass it up

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

I know polyiso have a very good perm rating. The facing is not as ideal as the foil faced but this is roofing material. I will force fit it between the rafters so I don't lose ceiling height. The walls will be getting 1.5" and will run overtop of the girts so they will be continuous.

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

I want to minimize and fiberglass or cellulose material to keep down the mice. Keep weight down, especially in the event of a roof leak. I'm not really into the spray foam thing...expensive for a building this size and if I ever need to replace anything it becomes even more of a mess. My...

    4" polyiso....between my rafters

So I went and picked up 2800sqft of polyiso yesterday. It's a glass paper faced product. I'm going to cut it to fit between my rafters tape the seams and I'll be putting up some type of ceiling. Im curious if I should put a vapor barrier between the foam and ceiling material? I have vented...
