Someone posted recently that they had the mats from Costco and lifted them up after one winter and the bottom was covered in mold! They took them back and got a refund, then orded tiles. Seach the forum and you should be able to find the post...

Yep, the company I work for spends north of $700K a year with UPS and Fedex...so I know the drill! I was just shocked that the charges were so high at the retail UPS store for handing. Thanks again.

Picked up my tiles from UPS in Niagara Falls today. For other Canadians thinking of doing this...BEWARE...Racedeck is shipped in relatively small boxes (likely because of the weight) and UPS charges $15/box for handling!!! It cost me $120 in UPS charges for the two bays that I am doing...

Yep, I just did it too. Had to hustle up a pattern before they closed :) I bought 342 sq ft to do 2 bays of my 3 car garage (one bay is separated by a wall from the others for the wife and kids :bounce: ). Thanks for the deal Jorgan :beer:

Very nice! That is the same pattern that I am planning, although I am going to make the perimeter and the single tiles in the pattern flow-through to help with air-flow (I'm afraid of mold...)

Can you explain how your new tiles prevent mold via air flow please? Your site talks about the issue, but doesn't explain how your tiles do this. Thanks

I am considering RaceDeck flooring for my garage and read that I need to leave 1/4 inch space on each side for expansion of the tiles when warm. I am going to tile a section that is 18 feet wide (the other bay is separated by a wall from "my" space :thumbup:), so I will need to trim 1/4 inch...

Thanks, I took a closer look at the premier line and they are nicer. However, these cadet cabinets are assembled and in boxes - I saw them piled up in costco and opened one of the large cabinet boxes. This is a new product versus the old cadet cabinets. They subbed the work out to another...

As the title states, I'm looking for a company that makes an insulated 7 x 7 carriage house-style garage door and cannot find one. Any leads out there?

I just had this work quoted on a new 8 x 7 door. $350/door for the hardware to change it to a high lift door, the installer is going to eat the installation costs since I have 3 doors. $500/door installed for a jackshaft opener - These prices are Canadian, so you can probably do 10 -15% better...

Does anyone have any comments about mold and mildew in colder/wetter climates? Tat is my only concern with this product...

So, how does one fix these spots? The house we are considering has this problem at the garage entrance where the tires would run over the concrete. I'd like to repair this and then cover with Race Deck. Any ideas on what to use to fix it? Thanks, Mark
