My R12LQR is a Napa / Carlyle 1/2" long handle ratchet. It has a weird handle. Feel free to add your own ratchet reviews. The rebuild kit is in stock @ my local Napa in case I break it. The head is nice and small. It's got coarse teeth.

I would like to thank Puttsy for starting the ratchet and wrench thread. I thought I knew about ratchets and wrenches but I didn't realize all the different kinds that existed.

I took apart 2 half -inch Craftsman ratchets and greased them. They say Forged in USA. The one looked similar to flathead youngins Craftsman ratchet. They are a lot quieter than before I greased them.

First of all, I want to say thank you for all the info on garage journal. I find it a bit overwhelming sometimes. Who makes the DeWalt 3/4 " ratchet? I saw one on clearance for $65 @ Rural King.

Does Lowe's have 3/4" Craftsman ratchets in stock? Or are they special order? I just looked through the weekly ad and didn't see any 3/4" sets.

Does anyone shop in a Rural King brick and mortar store? They have a great selection of shovels and axes as well as Milwaukee power tools. They also have bulk .22 ammo.

What is your favorite brand of needle nose pliers? I am interested in the medium-small size of pliers. I know channellock and SK make needle nose pliers. Are there other USA made brands out there? I have not seen a recent thread on this topic. So post away.

My local do it best has 3/4" drive channellock brand for $79.99. Is that the going price? I have not found any recent 3/4" ratchet threads on Garage Journal.

Does anyone use a channel lock splitting maul? Do they have a warranty? The ratchet has a warranty- I wrecked a 3/8 channel lock ratchet and was able to get a new one under warranty.
