I called for prices here today. 3/4 Wood grain melamine from Roucke is $48.70 per sheet (solid colors are about $10 less) and the Baltic Burch, 3/4, unfinished, 5x5 sheets are $52.08. I am leaning toward BB - Lee - I'll check that book out. It looks interesting.

Thanks for all the input - very helpful. One other question: If I use melamine what is the best way to cover the melamine screws on the visible end of the cabinets?

Chaz - I was originally thinking about pre-finished melamine. The only reason I changed my mind was that I read it quickly dulled the Festool blades and since the tools aren't mine I didn't want to be too hard on them.

Yeah - I have the high lift harbor freight scissor lift that they delivered to my house, the lift gate handled it just fine but there was an extra charge for it. I just used pvc pipes to roll it off the pallet onto furniture dollies to move it.

I've used a similar tent from harbor freight. I'll dig up some pics this weekend. I framed up ends to hold the intake and output filters and a door. It works well but if you are doing a car the 10 width is pretty narrow. The HF tent is on sale now for $180 and if you find a 25% off coupon...

I don't use my blast cabinet much but when I do I am always frustrated with the lighting. The specialty bulbs for the cabinet aren't very good and they're a little expensive. I'm sure some of you have some creative lighting improvements you've made, let's see them please. Thanks

Is it okay to store cans of spray paint laying on their side? Will it clog the nozzles? I would like to store them in a Rubber Made container but its not tall enough to store them upright. Thanks

+1 for the scissor lift. I have a mid-year 911 and a Harbor Freight high rise scissor lift. It works great and no trouble with the engine drop. It was on sale + a coupon = $1100 shipped.

Just to let everyone know how it went. I rolled it off the pallet using PVC pipe. As it came off the pallet I put it on two $11 furniture Dollys from HF. Worked perfectly. Thanks for the tips!

It's the higher lift model from harbor freight. It does have wheels on one end but I can't lift the other. A jack is not a bad idea.
