Anyone with M18 shop vac...specifically water?

I use my Ridgid shop vac to **** up water off my plow truck when the snow melts, and it works great but the cord *****. Anyone have any experience sucking water off a floor with the M18? I'd LOVE to go cordless this Winter, but just wondering if it's as good as a real shop vac.

    Snap On FHX80B

Someone posted this on the new tools, inspired me to grab one. Interesting size that fills a blank that probably is not NEEDED, but could come in handy some day. Did SO ever make a "normal length" locking head like this before the new locking design?

Found on rural dirt road, my friend and I are thinking maybe for tire chains? Has "W" and "B" with some cone like looking design between them. Pipe added for leverage.

    Small hex half (.5) sizes?

Recently ran into a Chrysler mini van sway bar end link being a usual PITA. Found a 5.5mm hex in our Tekton set at work, fit perfect. I've seen really small stuff like 2.5, but Tekton has stuff up to 5.5mm. Is this something I have missed, or is 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 hex a common thing...

    What is it?.....

Friend of mine posted this on the book of faces, he was wondering it's use. I have no clue, but I know within about 35 seconds of posting this someone on here will give more than I would ever want to know about it! Thanks in advance!

Cost for reupholstering a truck bench

Have a bench seat from my 89 F250 plow truck, the OEM vinyl is shot. Local shop said 600 bucks with something like -20 rated vinyl, it's what they use on sleds. Is that a decent price? I have ZERO experience with upholstery, and realize prices can vary, but hate to pay 600 for just a plow truck...

    SO CT861 3/8 brushless gun....

Had the old one, traded it and regretted since. Got the M12 gun to replace it, but this new SO gun is a HOSS! Took the lug nut off my plow truck, 1-1/16 1/2 drive socket with reducer....took a few seconds of hitting, but did it while the M12 got nowhere. I always like the trigger and size of my...

Vertical mounting of SO 14.4V charger?...

Saw the 861 is up to 150f5/lbs the other day, miss my old 761, so decided to jump back onto the SO 14V line....plus the magnetic battery boot is pretty damn cool. Anyway, there are no provisions for vertical mounting like Milwaukee, so has anyone done this or fabbed a method?

498K and Last Chance tool use

First chance to use both. They worked great as a team on this 2012 Durango front wheel bearing. I had done the other side about a year ago, took TONS of heat and the CP717 to pound that one out, this side was MUCH easier with the Astro tools. Beat it with the 498k to start, then ran the last...

Does the Matco kit include the 3 adaptors that I hear the Astro does not? I can get the Matco kit for 50 bucks more than the Astro, anyone know what the cost of those 3 adaptors? I'm also guessing the Matco is made by Astro..... Matco...

    New bestest pliers, SO LN47ACF

Just got these yesterday, used the **** out of them today working on a crusty *** 2014 Journey. TONS of uses for these! They remind me of the old Cman Pro 2 position needle nose, but WAY more stout and longer. One pic is 97ACF needle nose next to the LN47ACFs.

    Show your RBRT....

MAC customer service and I have a checkered past, but since I discovered a fabulous lady who works in the student discount side of the company, I have somewhat buried the hatchet. The RBRT stuff is no joke, the hex has absolutely blown me away (some is Proto, from before said lady contacted...
