A recent acquisition marked "Stillson's Wrench Made By Moore Dropforging Co, Springfield Mass USA, with circle M logo, circa who knows.
I've not found images of any others this size (24") but all smaller ones had a wooden handle with a metal collar. I suspect this was originally so equipped...
Its been suggested that this would have been used with female drive ratchets but those I've seen were hex drive.
This seems the place to ask what/how it was used.
unbranded, clearly not high quality
3/8" female square drive at both ends. Both ends have lead in and notches for a retaining ball so not for a square pipe plug.
How is this used? Mistake??
