I didn’t want any issues cutting the end wall truss for a door opening. Thinking about it now it would have been fine but I don’t want my inspector questioning cutting a truss. It’s not a big deal nailing a few boards in for support for sheathing.

I like that idea. After more discussion, my wife doesn’t really want a hoist hanging out there permanently.
