Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

Yep. I can use a block of wood and an adjustable wrench to get the blade off, then I should be able to get my caliper to the arbor and if nothing else, lock it to the size of the arbor and head to the hardware store, and take along the blade nut so I can find a wrench that fits it. Thanks!

Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

That's a really good idea. I can block the blade with a scrap of wood like @yatg suggested and get the blade nut off with a crescent wrench, which should give me room to get my caliper in and measure the arbor.

Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

That's good detective work! I didn't have an electronic copy of the manual, but I do now... maybe I'll do a bit more hunting on those part numbers. Surely someone at some point published a replacement part number... great idea about bypassing the arbor wrench by using a piece of wood to block...

Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

I thought that too, but 15/16 is a very loose fit. I'll probably buy a 24mm and see how that fits.

Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

I've never gotten the hang of my digital caliper... the blade nut reads 59/64 or 23.35mm and my limited set of SAE wrenches doesn't contain a good fit. I thought it should be 7/8, but 7/8 is a tad too small so maybe... 24mm? Because of my digital caliper's big plastic head, I can't get it on...

Table Saw Arbor Wrenches - Craftsman 10" 137.2488880

Someone offered me a 10" Craftsman table saw (Model: 137.248880), and it arrived without the original arbor wrenches. The manual refers to them as "the open-end wrench" and "the box-end wrench" but I've been unable to turn up a size reference on them. Any chance someone still has one of these...

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - anti-freeze necessary after blowout?

Both good points, thanks. I actually have a can of Briggs & Stratton Pump Saver (Simpson approved) on hand but wasn't sure I was done with the washer for the year and didn't want to use the antifreeze if I was just going to wind up flushing it out in a few weeks, but a little wasted product is a...

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - anti-freeze necessary after blowout?

Ok, those are good points and easy enough to accomplish. I'll do as you suggest, Jswain - thanks.

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - anti-freeze necessary after blowout?

I used a blowout adapter for the first time at the end of the season this year and blew all the liquid from my Simpson MS60921 pressure washer pump, hose, and wand before storing it. If the pump is now dry inside, do I still need to use anti-freeze in it?

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - Shop replaced pump with Yamatic pump?

I appreciate that! Seems like a friendly bunch here and I think it'll be a great resource for me.

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - Shop replaced pump with Yamatic pump?

It feels kind of like that too, but I still probably wouldn't use those words. I can't really expect them to work on my stuff without making a profit and I was too timid to tackle the job myself so I paid the price. Literally.

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - Shop replaced pump with Yamatic pump?

Answering my own question here, but Yamatic actually (and unexpectedly) answered my online contact form requesting more info on the pump so I thought I'd post the info. The replacement pump is on their website at the address below. It doesn't reference the X002H5VZH9 part number on the pump's...

Simpson MS60921 (3300psi) Pressure Washer - Shop replaced pump with Yamatic pump?

When my Simpson MP670920 pressure washer's pump went out (with maybe 20 hours on it), I decided to let my shop replace it the first time. I picked the pressure washer up from the shop today and it has a completely different pump on it now, with a tag that reads Yamatic HIGH PERFORMANCE PRESSURE...

Simpson Power Washer - Melted Valves and General Maintenance

Wow, I had never heard of fogging an engine but there's lots of good info on YouTube now that I know what to look for. I used pump saver (I guess that's an anti-freeze that Simpson recommends) last year and the thing still sprayed out 3-4 seconds of rusty water when I started it this spring so...

Simpson Power Washer - Melted Valves and General Maintenance

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I'd seen the pump online for ~$100 and it looked like it was a pretty simple four-bolt job, but I didn't know how it would connect to the engine shaft so I elected to let the shop do the replacement. If you guys say the job's easy, I'll tackle it myself next...

@demarpaint, what do you mean when you say you fog the machine?

Simpson Power Washer - Melted Valves and General Maintenance

Thanks for your response, Jack. I've never used compressed air to blow out the water but that's exactly what I needed to know about. I found a video at that makes the process very clear; I just need to hunt up the appropriate fittings. Thanks again!!

Simpson Power Washer - Melted Valves and General Maintenance

I bought a SIMPSON MegaShot 3,300 pressure washer (MS60921) four years ago. This unit is used for 3-4 hours/year to clean green mold from my vinyl siding and is stored in an outdoor shed the rest of the time. I'm careful not to let the pressure washer run for more than a minute or two without...
