Ever think of giving up the air compressor?

Funny, I have this dilemma. I need a new compressor, my old 20 gallon 3HP unit is probably 40 years old and my 1/2 inch impact is just about done. So, do I buy a new compressor, 60 gallon 3HP or I saw this two stage 40 gallon unit that would be perfect with a new impact. I do have other air...

Another 4 post lift question. Which is the best?

Yep, you will go crazy trying to decide which one. I also went with a Bendpak HD 9XW with an RJ45 rolling jack, castor kit, drip trays, jack tray and the 220V motor. Same responses as above but I'll add that the air locks are great and the adjustable runway width is a plus too. My neighbour has...

    Adantage car lift reviews?

I bought a Bendpak HD9XW because of the slightly narrower width than the other 9000lbs lifts, but as tdkkart states the adjustable lock ladders are a must with a sloping floor as most floors usually have for drainage. I also got the Bendpak because of the air release locks. My neighbour has an...

    You should get a lift.

Bought a Bendpack HD9XW June 2015. Lifts everything I own including my 2008 MegaCab. Let out a loud*&^^$^%^ one day in the garage, my wife came out to see what was wrong, I said I'm ordering a lift tomorrow! She didn't disagree as all the work I have done to our vehicles over the years has paid...

    Yet Another Storage Lift Thread

On lift certification, since I live close to upstate NY I was looking to get a lift from one of the resellers there. It seems that the resellers in NY are not allowed to sell a non-certified lift. Don't know if other states follow the same policy.

    Another lift question

I have just a little bigger garage, 24 x 24 and I bought a Bendpak HD9-XW with the castor kit and an RJ45 rolling centre jack. I bought this because it would lift my 08 Dodge Megacab and only had to fold one mirror in when driving on. It also has one runway that is adjustable for narrower...

    Yet Another Storage Lift Thread

I also looked at lifts for a long time. They all began to look the same! I finally broke down and bought a Bendpak HD9-XW in June 2015. I bought this because 1. It is a 9000lbs lift and is about 1ft narrower than most lifts in its class, which enabled me to get a car into my garage between...

Help with 4-Post Lift Pump and Lock Location

I mounted mine on the drivers side front post. I have a workbench that runs alongside the left of the lift and a double entrance door in front of the lift. I picked this location as I can see both up/down operation and in case anything did happen, I have room to get out of the way though the...

    Help Choosing the right lift

You can read for - literally - years on lifts, what to buy?, which one to buy. In the end you will be more confused than when you started!!. I was in the same boat but pulled the chute on a Bendpak HD9XW in June 2015. I mainly picked this 9k lift as it would lift/fit my 08 MegaCab, and was over...

Bendpak "Super-Wide" HD-9SWX four car lift.

If your wondering about Bendpak, they are probably the best of the Chinese lifts. I bought a HD-9XW June 2015, 1. Because my 08 Dodge MegaCab would fit and lift it, 2. It was about 17" narrower overall than all of the competitors which enabled me to get my car in and out of the garage without...

    BendPak RJ45 One or Two?

I bought an HD9XW this past June. Debated on the 2nd RJ45 as it is a lot of money. I did get the sliding bridge jack and use it with 2- 5Ton flat bottom axle stands. For now it work great. Maybe I'll get lazier and spring for the 2nd RJ45!!

Anyone use jacks on their 4-post lifts?

I have an HD9 Bendpak with the RJ45 rolling jack. I also got the sliding jack tray and use 2-5 Ton flat bottom axle stands on it. Jack up the car with the RJ45, set it on the two stands and then roll the RJ45 too the other end of the vehicle. Works great

4 post lift. Atlas Garage Pro 8000 vs 408-SL?

I too was debating between the 409 and the Pro 9000. In the end I chose the Bendpak HD9-XW because it is about 1 foot narrower than both Atlas lifts, which enabled me to get a car in/out of the garage without moving the lift. I also got the RJ-45 rolling jack. My neighbour has the Atlas 8000, he...

    Re-doing Epoxy Floor

I re-did my floor which I epoxied 20 yrs ago. Used a diamond grinder with an attached vacuum. Did a great job and also prep'd the floor at the same time. I used a PPG product, Amercoat 400 with a 700 Top coating, Not cheap stuff but worked really well. Here are some pics

connecting 2 sections of epoxy floor

I rented a POD to put all my garage stuff in while a did my floor. They parked it 5ft outside my garage door so it was an easy transition. It was around $300 for the month but worth it

Flooring: What you wish you had done

I rented an Edco concrete sander to prep my 650 sq ft garage to take off what was left of 20 yr old epoxy and oil stains. I then used PPG Amerlock 400 epoxy with a PSX 700 top coat and sprinkled anti slip material over it. this is really good stuff but expensive and you need a licensed...

    new epoxy floor

I also am going to use the Amerlock 400 but with their PSX 700A clear top coat. It is supposed to be the choice for top coats. Should have it down by Wednesday

Which floor grinder? Edco or Clarke?

I just used the Edco with the vacuum but with their diamond attachment instead of the wheel discs. There are 3 magnetic diamond attachments you can put on each orbiting wheel with 4 cutters per attachment. My floor is 20 years old and epoxied it when new but has slowly eroded away so I had oil...

My Ever Eternal lift install photos

Have you tried lifting your Cummins yet? I am interested as I have a 2500 MegaCab with the Hemi (so a little lighter) but obviously longer. This lift would be right at its MAX.
