I'd love to have the real thing, but I was thinking of just the concept of one motor with multiple tools and a belt or even chain drive. Probably an electric motor. Cool video though

Noise, vibration, pulleys.....danger ETC are all why we like these old tools isn't it :-)

I really liked the idea of a bike sprocket, free wheeling all the time unless engaged at the tool side? I dunno just haven't seen it before and thought it would be neat. not something I'd put a TON into but we'll see if I can get my Dad's interest he is the Engineer of the family. :)

So after acquiring my first older shop tool (1950's Delta Scroll Saw) it got me thinking.....For those who know what a "hit-and-miss" motor is, has anyone ever set-up or seen a set up of older power tools that run off the same concept? I was thinking it would be cool to have one motor running...

Saw is prob. a good deal, I think, just going by the pictures, I'd replace the stand thought looks a little iffy in those pictures

New to me! Picked this up on CL...Scroll Saw with stand and motor, all works perfect for a whopping $40.00 :-)

Yeah I've been seeing the same as you with the odd s/n. I mailed delta customer service to see if I could get more info. I found this which has the same plate and single alpha digit.

Built in the 50's Model 40-110 looking for the light attachment now :-)
