Here is a toolbox my dad has had since the 70s. Still in decent condition. Its finally been retired from regular duty and will be used for a small parts cabinet. Even after some digging he was able to find the original key!

If that's the case then I have some digging to do, as if its truly my grandfathers box, it would be impossible to be newer than mid 50's. Does anyone know if there are any manufacturing dates stamped on these boxes generally? If so, where would I look?

Certainly! I generally would choose what gets the job done. I mean for $500 + warranty I would get that generator without a doubt. They don't lie about any of their claims from what I've seen. But I'm sure they withhold information as do most comparisons.

They are certainly going after the competition by directly calling them out. The comparisons are pretty funny sometimes.
