Is This Milwaukee Impact a POS?

It's definitely defective. I have one and it's a little beast and in general very well rated / reviewed by the masses.

Tool Box organizers What are you using?

Another vote for Ernst. Wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc. Their 10 and 3 compartment trays are nice too. Quality stuff that works well at a good price, and even made in USA. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

It's one of the "free tool" options on the HD sales right now. Buy the battery pack for $200, get the blower for free, return the battery pack... end up with the blower for about $90. Battery starter kit $199 --> $110.62 Blower $159 --> $88.38 Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    The Unofficial Wissota Grinder Thread

As another said, they're over $1100 now. That includes the skate holder, etc.... everything you need pretty much. Pricey, but with 3 boys playing hockey for many years, it's paid for itself a few times over. I do their teammates as well and charge $5, which I then donate back to their club...

What Battery-Powered Chain Saw Should I Buy?

I've only used it once, probably a dozen cuts, but impressed with my new Milwaukee M18 saw. Agree with the above - if you already have a battery platform, get the respective chainsaw. If not, take a look at what platform you may want to invest in. A battery for a chainsaw is going to be $$$...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

My guess is probably, maybe, but I'd also guess putting that much draw on those batteries might cause them to overheat and permantly damage the cells? If you have an extra $200 and could use a blower, HD has the saw / blower / 12AH on sale for $450. Blower is very nice. Sent from my...

    1/2 drive starter set?

I picked up two 15 piece Proto impact sets from Zoro a few weeks ago. SAE and Metric, both standard depth. List is $100 each, but had a 15% off code and another 10% back from my credit card, so $77 each plus tax. Originally I was planning on Sunex or Tekton, but for "a few" more bucks the...

    Recommended cordless outdoor tool systems

I've recently invested in the Milwaukee M18 OPE line. Have pretty much everything except the edger attachment. Quik Loc line trimmer, hedge trimmer attachment, pole saw, and the "stand alone" chainsaw, blower, and hedge trimmer. So far love it, and amazed what 18v can do. Still have Echo...

    Opinions on M18 Blower

Just got mine tonight. The big one (with a 12ah battery, and a chainsaw!). Pleasantly surprised. Aa others have noted, not an all day blowing wet leaves type of tool, but it'll handle 95% of most people's blowing needs. Garage, driveway, etc. Also heard the flat nozzles you can get for them...

Favorite or Best quality vs. price value 1/4” drive metric and sae socket set

I have both the SK and Tekton sets in cases. Recommend both. Seems like the SK is a bit more robust (deeps and ratchet). Like the Tekton set for the money though. If I had to pick, SK, but COO is important to me. Both seem like solid companies that prioritize customer service. Don Sent...

    Future tools to replace Craftsman

I COO matters, SK might be worth a look.... I think they bring a lot of the same benefits that Tekton provides (good product, good customer service, easy warranty, etc.).... but USA made (with corresponding USA made pricing). Don Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Looking for jack stands

I have two pair of the USJ 3 tonners I've been happy with. Not sure if they still do, but they used to have a sale every year around Thanksgiving. If I remember, it basically amounted to free shipping... was a chunk of change for my order (70 lbs). Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
